Breaking News: Why You Should Book Your Next Flight Based Solely On The Free Snack Menu

As Co-founder of The Sky Key, I get asked this question all the time walking down the streets of New York: what airline should I book my next flight on?

What if I told you most people never truly find the answer to this question? Let me enlighten you.

In my opinion, focusing on ticket price, airline status and convenience are not important. In reality, there is one thing and only one thing that truly matters… The free snack menu.

What else should you care about? Look, you already paid hundreds of dollars for your flight and your knees are jammed into the seat in front of you for the next five hours. In moments of survival like these, Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs states physiological needs (e.g., food, water) take first priority. So making sure you are on the plane with the best free snacks is of upmost importance.

On a serious note, I love Oreos. So if you are flying over 1550 miles, Southwest has their free snack game on point (United’s Pringles® would have won me over, but unfortunately they cost $5 or 590 miles), but take a look at all of the free snacks offered by the major US airlines and let us know who you think has the best free snack menu!
